I have been using this app for sometime now. I enjoy reading and listening to The Word. I paid for it before and now I am being asked to pay again. The app runs quickly through the reasons and I am not able to understand what is said.

I paid for the audio upgrade but it doesn’t work. Very disappointing.
Thank you for making this wonderful translation available deeply appreciated! Navigation to particular chapter/verse combos could be a bit more efficient, though it’s not bad at all as it is. God Bless!
Very happy with the rest. Thank you!
I’m in love with this app but I don’t like the way the notes are highlighted and my notes stopped working in the book of Joshua.
Nice app, although it would be nice to have a highlighter feature and not such a robotic voice. I would read it for you if you like! I do like the app otherwise!
Love having the Bible available all the time. I use my iPhone and it is difficult to find the books and chapters. They are hidden and I have to guess.
I do love the reading of this version and it’s simple presentation. It might be the device I’m using, a smaller I pod, but I’m often unable to view the beginning chapters of the books. Also, it would be nice if at the index for selecting a Book if they were all visible. I’d rather have the need of scrolling further down with all the books visible for selection than have some hidden to save space. Thanks again, Aaron Craner
I really like it that I can access the NJB through my gadget, but I would definitely prefer it comes with footnotes as well... thank you and keep it up!
This app was recommended by a Nun to me when the lockdown began on March 2020, my constant companion eversince. 9 months later, I finally gave in to write a review for this app - just so it will stop buggin’ me. The idea to be able to use a pen with this app like a real book would be cool.
Allow a swipe to the left or right to move back and forth between chapters. The next button is way to small and not intuitive. Allow user to choose back ground. Sometime a verse turns yellow and I have no idea why or how to undo it.
It would be awesome if the commentary and footnotes were added.
The app needs help. I miss the footnotes from the 70’s edition and the ability to find book, chapters, & verse - without needing to go back and forth from what you call a table of contents to the text 5 to 10 or more times until I’ve finally found the chapter!
Good version. I would like the footnotes that the Bible has though.
I love this app. Thank you.
Having this option would be a great addition to this app. I love the Jerusalem Bible translation but having this option to click and have the daily readings would make the app fantastic.
This is the best Jerusalem Bible app. Footnotes would be a welcome addition. App is stable.
It would be nice to be able to note take
I wish I could read the next chapter without having to go back to the index. Like the translation.
I like this app but the fake Jesus picture should go.
I’d suggest when you complete a chapter that the app would automatically advance to the next chapter.
Thank you. Just plain “thank you.”
I love the New Jerusalem Bible so I was glad to find it in an APP, would love to hear a real person reading it as the way it is, so much is mis-pronounced. I only listen while driving but prefer to read. It would be wonderful to hear a human voice reading......
I’ve been listening to this bible app for about two years. I love the ability to listen to the Bible on my daily commute of an hour plus. It took me 10 years to read the Bible, but thanks to this app, I’ve listened to the entire Bible about 10 times. My only suggestion would to pause the app between books. Or at least call out the next book, before hand.
I walk in the Neocatechumenal Way and we use this Bible. I feel it could improve on the interface. There is no need for paper backgrounds or embossed buttons. Keep the design simple. Another cool addition would be to have the ability to highlight a phrase and add a little footnote to it. Just a thought
I trouble highlighting things and just wish that was improved upon.
This is a good app but there is a Revised New Jerusalem Bible released July 2019 and it would be nice if this app were updated to that new edition.
I really like the Biblical Hebrew words in this. My problem is I don’t know how I Got this version on my IPad. I’ be tried getting it on my IPhone but can only get New Jerusalem Bible with the traditional King James words.
Thank you for having audible.
It would be great to be able to highlight, bookmark passages— I would be wonderful if I could read the daily readings from this app.
I just wish the audio reading was real voice not read by a computer that mispronounces (a lot).
MORE MyStIc
iOS 13.3 trashed the viewin left navigation so I can no longer see the books and chapters. Please update this app!
I would really like a real person doing the reading. Computer generation of voice is distracting from the lesson. Also the icon is in the way when a computer is reading, so that is also distracting if you are trying to read along. Trying to read without a voice is awkward when wanting to move to the next chapter.
I love having this translation available. The literary quality is the very best in the English language. I have just one request. Could you provide easy access to the daily reading schedule used in Roman, Anglican/Episcopalian, and Lutheran Churches. It would be a lovely assistance.
Very good app
Display issue. Book names stay partially not visual. Could be related to last update.
I’ve the Bible in book form with the copious footnotes. It needs paragraph headings and easier access to the chapters. Other than that, it’s good to see this translation on my iPhone.
Have a section that will reach The Daily
Well designed and easy to use app.
Good app, could have better bookmark feature and option to highlight multiple sections of text. Overall I’m satisfied. Thank you!
You can’t improve on perfection. I love everything about it. I have the app on my iPhone and iPad which makes it so easy to be able to read any time I want. Thank you for making it convenient to have the Bible with me all the time.
I love that all the books are listed and are easy to find and tap. I wish when you have the voice read the passage that it sounds so electronic. But I am using this app everyday and appreciate its ease of use.
Get a real human for the reader, Everything else is perfect
Just wish it was easier to switch between chapters. More like pages of a book.
I have only listened to the book of Tobit on this app because it wasn’t available on the Bible app. The voiceover was a let down because it seemed to be a robot or a computer generated voice. I’m sure people would be happy to give their time by reading for the app. I would love it. Other than that it has all of the books and is a great tool to read.
A way to bookmark where you are reading would be wonderful. It is easy to read Thank you
This app has been a great help to me, it makes it easy for me to find scripture passages and increase my interest in reading and praying with scripture. I am very grateful for making this available and simple to use
is there any way to use a digital pencil and be able to underline or write thoughts?? thank you
